Accounts Receivable Manager / Financial Analyst

$75-90k base salary 
Onsite in the Livonia, MI area

A privately owned Tier I automotive supplier is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join the team as a Senior Accounts Receivable Manager / Financial Analyst. This position plays a key role in managing accounts receivable operations while supporting leadership with financial reporting, analysis, and operational coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting or finance background, experience in the automotive industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and account tracking
• Review, track, and maintain customer purchase orders and sales documentation
• Prepare and analyze program job costing reports
• Support senior leadership with financial reporting, analysis, and general accounting activities
• Assist Sales with reporting, presentations, and customer-related information requests
• Partner with Operations on supplier and customer-related financial functions
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or related accounting functions
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of standard accounting practices and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including:
  • XLOOKUP
  • PivotTables
  • SUMIF
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively across departments

Preferred Background

• Experience supporting manufacturing or automotive operations
• Familiarity with customer purchase order management and cost reporting
• Comfortable interacting with leadership, sales teams, and operations personnel
