Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will oversee the full accounts receivable cycle across multiple business entities, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, cash application, reconciliations, and reporting. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for AR-related matters while also supervising one direct report. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable operations across multiple entities
• Manage billing processes, cash applications, account adjustments, and collections activities
• Review and reconcile AR subledger activity to ensure alignment with the general ledger
• Compile and analyze franchise or customer sales data to support invoicing and reporting
• Prepare journal entries, monthly reconciliations, aging reports, and related financial analysis
• Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively drive collection efforts
• Support reporting and reconciliation processes tied to third-party revenue streams and deposits
• Supervise and mentor one direct report, providing guidance and support on daily operations
• Assist with process improvements, special projects, and ongoing operational initiatives

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounts receivable and/or accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Strong understanding of AR processes, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations
• Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and complex reporting functions
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Epicor or similar platforms preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines and multitask effectively
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
