We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cash Applications Specialist for a priority direct-hire role with a national client partner. This is a crucial position for an analytical self-starter with 2–3 years of specialized experience, ready to handle high-volume transactions and complex reconciliations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
This specialist role is responsible for daily cash management, payment application, and reconciliation within the ERP system.
Responsibilities: - Apply all daily customer payments (lockbox, ACH, wire, credit cards) and match accurately to open invoices.
- Process intercompany transactions and input billing adjustments into the ERP.
- Investigate and resolve payment variances, including unapplied cash, deductions, and overpayments.
- Reconcile daily bank activity and payment batches.
- Collaborate with A/R, Billing, and Operations to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Support cash posting activities for the month-end close and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Qualifications: - 2–3 years of Cash Application experience.
- ERP system and solid Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter withcross-functional communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and meet strict daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
