The primary responsibility of a CNC Machinist is to support production operations by performing low to moderate machining operations, operating one or more types of machine tools such as mills, drill presses, lathes, etc. o Setsup basic tooling, write and execute basic programs. o Sets up, operates and programs a broad range ofproduction work involving close tolerance and set ups that are exacting that are somewhat involved and have a low to moderate degree of difficulty. o Reads and interpretsspecific machining instructions from blueprints, partand machinedrawings. Key Job Duties: o Performs other secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycle times. o Performroutine maintenance. o Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed.Participates in and contributes toMassmanslean manufacturing journey. o Inspects machine parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices.
