Akkodis is seeking a Data Analyst for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The candidate must have strong proficiency in SQL, RDBMS, and data‑quality tools like Alation and Bigeye to effectively analyze and validate enterprise data.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Analyst job responsibilities include:
Analyze complex datasets using SQL and RDBMS concepts to extract insights and validate data accuracy.
Interpret dimensionally modelled databases and support ELT/ETL processes to ensure consistent data flow.
Utilize Alation, Bigeye, and Informatica DQ to manage data quality, metadata, and governance workflows.
Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to maintain RDM/MDM implementations.
Develop data validation checks, profiling routines, and documentation aligned with DAMA framework principles.
Monitor data quality metrics and address issues proactively across analytical and operational datasets.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
8–10 years of experience in data analysis, SQL‑based validation, and RDBMS environments.
Strong proficiency in SQL, RDBMS, and working with dimensionally modelled databases while supporting ELT/ETL processes.
Hands‑on experience with Alation, Bigeye, Informatica DQ, and implementing RDM/MDM practices aligned with DAMA framework principles.
