Job Title: General Production Worker/Machine Operator (1st shift Commerce)

Job Description

This role supports daily production operations in a warehouse environment by handling materials, mixing product batches, and assisting with quality-related tasks. You will work in either the material handling department or the machine operating department, ensuring products are accurately measured, safely moved, and prepared for further processing.

Responsibilities .

• Lift, carry, and move materials and products, including frequent heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Mix and weigh materials and product batches according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Manually move product around the work area to support production and workflow needs.
• Weigh and measure materials using scales to ensure accurate quantities and batch consistency.
• Assist with general production tasks such as staging materials, organizing work areas, and supporting machine operations as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding material needs, product issues, or quality concerns.

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform general production and general labor tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience or strong comfort level with heavy lifting and physical work.
• Ability to mix materials and product batches by following basic instructions.
• Basic experience using pallet jacks to move materials and products.
• Ability to weigh and measure materials using scales with attention to accuracy.
• Comfort working around production and machine operations.
• Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to follow safety and operational procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of COMMERCE, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
