General Production Worker

The General Production Worker role involves packaging lightweight items and supporting routine production tasks in a clean, organized work environment. This position requires following written instructions, maintaining quality standards, and performing basic math to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Package lightweight items into boxes according to work instructions.
• Follow written procedures for packaging, labeling, and material handling.
• Inspect items to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Prepare completed items for the next step, including counting and organizing materials.
• Perform basic math to verify quantities and counts.
• Monitor assigned tasks and report issues as directed.
• Work as part of a small team and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required.
• Follow all safety and workplace guidelines.

Required Skills

• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned schedules.
• Prior production or general labor experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment & Shift

Work is performed in a structured, safety-focused facility. The role involves standing for most of the shift, regular lifting, and working as part of a team in an organized setting.

1st Shift: 5am-3pm M-Th 

3rd Shift: 7pm-5am M-Th

Optional OT on Fridays

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Wing, MN.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.75/hr.
