Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping Manager at the Blackhawks Ice Center, where you will lead and oversee all cleaning and custodial operations to ensure a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic role offers the opportunity to manage a dedicated team, implement high standards of cleanliness, and contribute to an exceptional experience for visitors and staff alike. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining the center’s reputation for excellence in cleanliness and hospitality.

Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Qualifications

Education (Preferred, but Not Required)

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of professional housekeeping or cleaning experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience within a housekeeping or facilities environment preferred.
• Experience working in hotels, hospitals, arenas, office buildings, or other large facilities is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
• Ability to train, supervise, and schedule housekeeping staff effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle guest or client concerns professionally and resolve issues effectively.
• Basic computer proficiency, including scheduling, reporting, and inventory tracking.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to inspect rooms, public areas, and facilities regularly.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move supplies or equipment as needed.
