Job Description

Konnect Therapy, mental health center, is seeking an Advanced Practicing Nurse (APN) to provide psychiatric service including medication monitoring, telepsychiatry services for clients including children and adolescents within our location. Telepsychiatry services are provided throughout New Jersey. Our population is comprised of adults, adolescents, and children. The ideal candidate will perform assessments and can interpret mental health, medical, and social histories.

Salary: Commensurate with experience, negotiable

Responsibilities:

• Identify and prescribe medications based on the needs of the client.
• Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, or episodic mental health illnesses.
• Performing comprehensive examinations and psychiatric evaluations.
• Ability to work with a wide range of clients.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to address mental health needs.
• Develop and maintain a plan of care.

Requirements:

• Valid and active professional license in New Jersey for Advanced Nursing Practice.
• Valid and active DEA Number with certificate.
• Valid and active CDS registration.
• Must have an active joint protocol.
• Eligible to be credentialed by insurance companies.
• Professional liability insurance.

Job Type: Part-time, contract based, future converting to full-time
