Job Description
Results-driven Standup Forklift Operator with 2 years of experience in high-velocity, large-scale distribution centers.Expert in navigating narrow-aisle reach trucks and utilizing RF scanning technology to ensure 100% order accuracy in fast-paced, complex inventory environments. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Steel toe boots are required PPE.
salary: $17.5 - $18 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 2:30 AM

Responsibilities
- Pre-Shift Inspections: Perform daily safety checks on standup reach trucks or pallet jacks, documenting battery levels, hydraulic functions, and brake responsiveness.
- Safe Navigation: Maneuver standup forklifts through tight aisles and high-traffic "pick paths" while adhering to strict warehouse speed limits and floor safety protocols.
- Battery Maintenance: Responsible for changing, charging, and cleaning industrial batteries according to OSHA and facility standards.
- Pallet Building: Efficiently stack diverse products (ranging from heavy crates to fragile dry goods) to ensure stability during transit and prevent damage.
- Inbound/Outbound Loading: Operate equipment to unload trailers at the receiving dock and load outgoing delivery trucks according to specific route sequences.
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 25lbs
- standing for 12 hours at one time
- working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
- working weekends
