Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Vehicle Patrol Driver to join our team, responsible for patrolling assigned areas using various commercial vehicles. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of client properties through vigilant surveillance, prompt response to incidents, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial driving, vehicle operation, and excellent communication skills to maintain a secure environment.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of designated property areas using company vehicles such as box trucks, flatbeds, or specialized commercial vehicles.
• Monitor security systems and inspect premises for any signs of unauthorized access or safety hazards.
• Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with local authorities when necessary.
• Load and unload equipment or supplies as needed, utilizing forklifts or pallet jacks if certified.
• Maintain detailed logs of patrol activities, incidents, and vehicle inspections for reporting purposes.
• Ensure all vehicle operations comply with safety regulations, including manual transmission handling and heavy equipment operation when required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to relay important information during shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles involving route driving or heavy haul operations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with bus driving, tractor-trailers, or school bus driving is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or forklift operation is preferred.
• Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks or other equipment; familiarity with freight handling is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond effectively during emergencies.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and heavy equipment is desirable.
