Schedule: Evenings | 12-hour shifts | 3 days/week
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday
No weekends, holidays, or call required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant (RNC) to support a Cardiac Cath Lab team in an acute care setting. This role will focus on pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patient care, EP Lab support, and procedural nursing. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care and PACU experience, along with the ability to float between Cath Lab locations as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients before and after cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Assist with procedural nursing duties within the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab
• Monitor and assess patients throughout the recovery process
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system
• Float to an alternate Cath Lab location as needed
• Ensure compliance with all facility protocols, patient safety standards, and infection control guidelines

Skills:

• Strong experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing
• Knowledge of pre/post-cath recovery and EP Lab workflows
• Excellent critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred

Requirements:

• Active NY State RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• Pre/post cath, procedural, PACU, and critical care experience required
• AHA - BLS, ACLS

Pay: $70.00 - $86.00 per hour
