Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Neurology to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health .  South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details:

• Assist with outpatient clinics, coordination of patients in the emergency room, and inpatient patient management. 
• Liaise with Emergency Medicine and Medicine Department staff.
• Perform history and physical examinations and order diagnostic tests based on assessments.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe drugs and other therapies, as needed.
• Consult with supervising medical provider when appropriate.

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836*based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**,  which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 3x your salary (up to a maximum of $250,000) provided at no cost to you.
