Job Description
Our client, a telecomm leader, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of digital entertainment experiences across web, mobile, and connected TV platforms. This role will focus on designing intuitive, scalable, and high-quality user experiences that drive content discovery, engagement, and subscription growth.
- Duration: 3months
- Rate: $60hr-70hr based on experience
- Location: Remote
- Hours: PST hours
Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end design for key product areas—from discovery and onboarding to playback and account management
- Create user-centered solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI design
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Content teams to define and deliver best-in-class experiences
- Translate complex systems (content, personalization, subscriptions) into simple, intuitive user journeys
- Contribute to and evolve design systems to ensure consistency across platforms (web, mobile, TV)
- Use data, testing, and user insights to inform design decisions and continuously optimize experiences
- Present work to stakeholders and clearly articulate design rationale and trade-offs
Required Qualifications:- 5–8+ years of experience in product design (consumer-facing digital products preferred)
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking, systems design, and high-quality visual craft
- Experience designing for content-rich platforms (streaming, media, eCommerce, or similar)
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
- Experience working within or contributing to design systems
- Strong understanding of user journeys, information architecture, and interaction design
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence product direction
Nice to Have- Experience with streaming, OTT, or media platforms (content discovery is a big plus)
- Familiarity with personalization, recommendation systems, or search UX
- Experience designing for TV interfaces (10-foot experience)
- Comfort working in data-driven environments (A/B testing, analytics)
